MY TEDDY

my teddy was a skateboard bear
he rode it on the streets
he skated on the bowls and ramps
and tried all sorts of feats
he cracked his head and scraped his arm
and said it wasn't much
then split his barely kneecap bone
and had to use a crutch
he slid down all one-leggedly
a sloping slippery rail
and landed on his bottom bit
and broke his bearly tail
they stretchered him to hospital
and looked inside his head
then plastered him in bandages
and tucked him up in bed
